Sharknado 2 - The Second One
Released in 2014, Sharknado 2 begins with our reconnected couple, Fin and April, flying to New York for a promotional tour, when their plane is hit by a freakish storm. Surely lightning can’t strike twice!! Oh yes it can, another Sharknado is on the prowl……
Instantly thrown into the action, Fin once again is the saviour of so many, by landing the plane at JFK airport after the pilot meets a fishy end. April, not so lucky suffers a life changing injury.
Despite Fin’s warnings that another Sharknado is imminent, New Yorkers continue with their lives, ignorant to the danger that is to follow. Only Fin’s sister, Ellen, believes him, she however, is also in New York sightseeing, with her daughter Mora, separated from her husband Martin and son Vaughn who are at a Metz ball game. Desperate for his family (again), Fin leaves April's side in an attempt to save his sister and probably, New York.
Will Fin succeed? Will April recover from her injury? The only thing to be thankful for is that Sharknado’s don’t come in pairs……or do they???
Sharknado 2, to be clear is the second of the freakish series, from the outset it is obvious this is going to be bigger and better than the original. With more outlandish deaths, story line and characters than the previous (with the start of stars falling over themselves to make a cameo appearance), Sharknado 2 is where this series becomes of age.
