Willy's Wonderland
Stranded in a remote town with a car that won’t work and no way to pay the local repair shop, agrees to spend the night in an abandoned theme park full of animatronic characters that were once a joy to the kids of the town, but now hold a dark secret.
As night falls, these once happy mascots come to life and they’re out for blood.
Nicolas Cage, AKA The Janitor, a stranger perfectly happy with his cleaning duties until being rudely interrupted by Siren Sara, Cammy The Chameleon, Tito The Turtle, Arty The Alligator, Knighty Knight, Gus The Gorilla, Ozzie The Ostrich, and of course.....Willy the Weasel, how ridiculous..............and how bloomin' brilliant!
There's no doubt the lure of this feature to the masses will be the awesome capture and casting of Cage as The Janitor, who once again doesn't shy away from the "alternative" or "the different" type of film that other credible actors would stay clear of. And once again delivers a performance worthy of his every growing Cagian Hall Of Fame, even more incredible considering his character, The Janitor, the myth, the legend, is a man of very, very few words.
Now although Cage may be name, Willy's Wonderland itself is the definite true star with its seriously high end production value......and TBF from a quite decent budget......Willy's Wonderland looks EPIC and does feel like for the majority that you watching a live action video game, not Mortal Kombat....on no......more like a mash up of Bruce Lee's Game Of Death and Banana Splits.........FIGHT!
Credit to all the assembled cast who also hold their own as they wander through wonderland, for the majority meeting their unfortunate, bloody and glory ends......no spoilers here.....obvs, if only they played by the rules, took a break and chilled with a can of Punch.
If seeing Nicolas Cage playing some kick-ass pinball and going toe to toe, or claw, with a giant robotic ostrich is your thing......JACKPOT! If not, what the hell is wrong with you???
Willy's Wonderland, a blast of chaotic violence that maybe even Kim and Aggie would enjoy.
