Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus
Released in 2009, Mega Shark and Giant Octopus, mortal enemies, frozen in combat 10 million years ago, find themselves released to continue their epic battle in the modern world.
After a spurt of attacks around the world, marine biologist Emma MacNeil and scientist Seiji Shimada team up to contrive a cunning plan to end this prehistoric fight. Will they find a solution? With San Francisco and Tokyo in the mighty beasts paths, millions of lives are depending on their success.
Much is owed by the modern B-Movie world to Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus. Whilst as a stand alone film it leaves a lot to be desired with it's slow moving pace and lack of action, without this creation and initial surprising success, we may not have seen some of the future delights that "The Asylum" had yet to offer.
Must try harder, but then they did!
