Released in 2019

Iron Sky : The Coming Race

Twenty years after the events of Iron Sky, the former Nazi Moonbase has become the last refuge of mankind. Earth was devastated by a nuclear war, but buried deep under the wasteland lies a power that could save the last of humanity – or destroy it once and for all.

The truth behind the creation of mankind will be revealed when an old enemy leads our heroes on an adventure into the Hollow Earth. To save humanity they must fight the Vril, an ancient shapeshifting reptilian race and their army of dinosaurs.

Let's make earth great again.....

Iron Sky The Coming Race, the sequel to the 2012 phenomenon they said (legally) would never happen and one which The B Club and the world has waited an infinity for.......so is it worth the wait?

Assisted by a remarkable budget with a little help from an epic crowdfunding campaign, what initially strikes you about The Coming Race are the incredible special effects that many Hollywood blockbusters could and should be jealous off. The visuals and CGI really are impressive and put to shame some of the lazy filmmaking techniques of the modern era, including Oscar winning features.

The story is a crazy as expected with humans fleeing earth and living on the moon after nuclear devastation, shapeshifting reptilians, dinosaurs, a journey to the centre of the earth, classic evil dictators

and of course.....Adolf Hitler riding a T-Rex..........goosebumps?

The humour ticks along and is perfectly timed with all the dazzling onscreen action, however for the majority it's generally not "belly" laughing humour and is there enough? And that might be where The Coming Race let's itself down slightly. Following on from the original which was just about perfect in every way, the humour has definitely

taken a back seat to the once again, stunning special effects.

That said and to answer the above question, Iron Sky The Coming Race is absolutely worth the wait, highly recommended viewing on the big screen or at the very least on Blu-ray to give your eyes the treat that this feature presents and deserves.

Iron Sky 3 anyone..............?
