F.U.B.A.R

Released in 2018, F.U.B.A.R, when Sam discovers his stag weekend is a mock zombie survival experience, he couldn't be more chuffed - after all, what better way to spend your last few days of freedom than running around the woods with your friends, shooting 'zombies' with paintballs?

But when the stag party arrives to find the ‘zombies’ are in fact a bunch of psychotic ex-soldiers, their fantasy weekend quickly starts to look like a nightmare.

After a series of unfortunate mishaps, they find themselves trapped in a disused nuclear bunker, besieged by crazed, bloodthirsty ‘zombies.’

F.U.B.A.R - I'ts all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

When an Indie Britflick movie comes along, here at The B Club we do get a little bit excited. Throw in horror (little h), Comedy (big C) and "ZOMBIES" (big EVERTHING!), well, that's a 3B rating even before the opening credits!

From the trailer and synopsis an obvious comparison is made to "Shaun Of The Dead", however, whilst the comedy is of a similar ilk, that's where the similarities end.

F.U.B.A.R offers a good story but with a great mix of characters that develop an excellent on screen chemistry between the stag (Verey) and his band of brothers. Along with the usual tag-alongs you expect on a stag do, including the "normal" stuck-up father-in-law to be (Heap) and the guys attending who nobody really wants there......oooooh back stabbing, we all know it happens!

With the comedy flowing at an excellent pace and the series of unfortunate events that follow our hapless heroes, regardless of which wrong turn they take, you will be glued and wondering how (or even if) they will get out of the sticky situation they find themselves in.......and indeed, will the stag make it to the church!

F.U.B.A.R, a true great Indie Britflick release destined for an EPIC future........awesomeballs!
