Set for release in 2019,
Clownado, cursed demonic circus clowns set out on a vengeful massacre using tornadoes.
A stripper, Elvis impersonator, truck driver, teen runaway, and a dude get caught in the supernatural battle between femme fatal and the boss clown from hell.
There's No Shelter From This Storm!
Clownado, a very brave title in the world of B-Movie but offered with a synopsis that somewhat helps to ease any concerns! With the tornado having all sorts of beasts and objects thrust into it's vortex, the likes of sharks, wasps, cows and even sweet young girls with a love of pretty red shoes, it's now the turn of the humble clown.
Unlike the aforementioned, horror is definitely the order of the day and the clowns are anything but humble. With practical, gory, squidgy, very bloody and at times very funny special effects combining with the obviously needed CGI, a vibe of The Evil Dead, Braindead and the 80's classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space is created........yep, how long have we waited for this mashup!
The supernatural story provides an excellent base and the epic effects and score are a feast for the eyes and the ears. Then add in the cast who are more than just shy bystanders portraying memorable characters, no doubt offending the PC brigade in certain scenes, and the demented clowns all create a thing that nightmares are made of, and for some.......dreams!
Clownado, it's what the 'nado series has been waiting for, but if you suffer from coulrolilapsophobia.......then shit, stay away!
We got a Gem!
