R.O.T.O.R.

Released in 1987, R.O.T.O.R. (Robotic Officer Tactical Operations Research), is a prototype robot intended to fight crime.  Activated 25 years too early, ROTOR goes on a murderous rampage.

ROTOR's creator, Dr Coldyron, initially forced to resign over his  concerns with ROTOR's programming not being adequately tested, namely judge and execute, returns and enlists the help of Dr Steele to track down ROTOR, before he issues another fatal ticket.

Having seen ROTOR on its original release, The B Club was hoping that it had improved with age, like a fine wine!  But what we are left with is a 30 year old, stinking out of date bottle of milk!  To say this movie is bad is an under statement!

There are some good scenes and comedy elements, for instance ROTOR's uncanny ability to look like a 70's porn star, Willard the police robot (actually credited), Dr Coldyron's tone and the last ten minutes, however this cannot save a very, very, very slow moving, dull and terrible movie.

We are warned that R.O.T.O.R. II was/is a potential waiting to happen ........oh boy!!
