Released in 2017, Beyond Skyline, when the population of Los Angeles is vacuumed off the face of the Earth, Detective Mark Corley storms his way onto an alien ship to rescue his estranged son.

 

After crashing the ship in Southeast Asia, he must forge an alliance with a band of survivors to discover the key to saving his son and taking back the planet once and for all.

 

Beyond Skyline IS the sequel to the hugely successful original released in 2010. The B Club emphasizes the “IS” as from the outset, it appears that we have another reboot on our hands, wrong, get this idea out of your head to enjoy the experience more (no spoilers unlike some other review sites!).

 

Whilst the original was a good story and blew everybody away with the special effects, the end sequence at the credits left everyone thirsty for more and this SEQUEL doesn’t disappoint. An added bonus is that we get more of an insight into the aliens, their personalities and see what life is like on board the space ships.

 

With quite a cast assembled (do doubt due to the success of the predecessor) and a better story (IT’S A SEQUEL), fans of the original will not be left disappointed.

 

Skyline 3? You’ll have to watch and see, did we mention this is a sequel?
