4/20 Massacre

Released in 2018, 4/20 Massacre begins with five young female companions, celebrating a friends birthday on a date (20th April) that has become not only synonymous with horrific deaths and massacres around the world, but also as being an official holiday for the lover of the weed.

Choosing a camping trip as their vacation in a secluded part of a nearby national park, their fun is quickly subdued when they stumble upon a fellow backpacker, and his stolen stash of weed.

Accepting his "gift", unbeknown to them, they also accept another gift......... that being the attentions of a blood thirsty maniac, who will stop at nothing for his need......... his need for weed.

Will the five friends survive, or will they perish in their quest for the ultimate high?

4/20 Massarcre, a slasher flick with the usual and nowadays expected multiple unique deaths (we don't think this is a spoiler!?) and plenty of twists and turns to keep the viewer engaged.

An excellent cast along with what has to be said is a very well put together feature, makes 420 an enjoyable watch......now here's the smart  bit......

Just another slasher flick? Maybe? Or perhaps some thought has gone into this bloody release...........

Cleverly using an actual date that is both celebrated by the lover of the marijuana and one which has a very dark history, what the creator (Dylan Reynolds) has shared is a movie that will be watched annually, on the given date.

4/20 Massacre parties are an inevitability, and who knows, with the alcohol and weed that will undoubtedly be consumed*, maybe the 20th April will no longer be associated with the atrocities that have taken place in recent times.

A worthy watch, probably again and again.
